Just wanted to congratulate the organisers, volunteers and very talented performers that made Saturdays Fair at Methodist Ladies College such a fabulous day. Everyone had a ball despite the crazy heat (a casual reminder of the Perth summer ahead!). I don't remember our class having quite the same level of talent as the Flash Mob that danced or the numerous girls that sang their originals......but then it has been a while and memory fades.......now that I think about it, the Class of '96 were stunners in their own special ways!!
Thanks you Ladies! Was an amazing day - looking forward to next year already :-)
There's times in life when things happen, so terrible, so heartless, so pointless that it seems impossible to find the words to describe exactly how you're feeling. How to describe the sorrow you feel for those suffering direct loss, intense frustration at those who can't seem to understand that these actions achieve nothing, anger that a fellow human could behave so heartlessly and fear that by feeling this anger you may project, inadvertently a negative energy to echo around the world.
A small, perhaps childish, part of me believes that if enough people wish for the same thing at the same time, that wish will grow in proportion to the sum of its parts. That if enough people believe strongly enough in something, that the energy of that wish will become a tangible thing, something that can bring about a physical change.....childish maybe, spiritual perhaps, with a side-serve of naivety many would say. But worth a try? I propose the following:
Set an alarm for 8am tomorrow morning with a reminder to throw these words out to the world, wherever you are, "I see the Love in You, I feel the Love in Me, I show Love to All - no exceptions".
Perhaps my wish will come true?
